Portable Refacing

 The portable, electric powered shoulder refacing tools are designed to repair minor shoulder connection damage in the field. Drill collar and drill pipe shoulder faces are smoothed with adhesive backed emery paper, leaving a surface that is flat and smooth. Many connection shoulders can be repaired at the rig when such damage would normally require costly machine shop attention.
